Some Ice Magic SFX

A small pack of ice/snow-themed magic spell sound effects. Brewed together all by myself, from recording to editing to designing. There was still some angry snow and slush leftover for me to utilise, which was pretty chill.

Downloadable files are lossless stereo 96 kHz/24-bit PCM WAV to enable further sculpting, you may need to thaw them out into more suitable formats such as OGG Vorbis if you wish to use them directly. Some game engines can also do the defrosting process for you.

The Source Recordings are exactly as the name suggests, directly cropped out from whatever the microphones heard and told the recorder to jot down. They might sound "boring" (but hey so is reality) and are included mostly to let you experiment with editing and designing on your own if you want to. 

The Construction Kit is a pack of sounds made from the above Source Recordings, with some amount of processing and layering. They are the result of me frantically trying to scrape together impressive sounding material to submit to the jam, and experimenting with plugins/practices I seldom use. Not exactly suitable for direct application in games but don't let me tell you what to do.

The Readily Designed sounds are built from the above two packs, with some use in specific game scenarios in mind, e.g. casts, impacts, projectile travels. You are more than welcome to use them in ways that aren't what their name suggest. [Coming sometime in February!]
